Posted 11/12/17: NTMC News 11/12/17 - 11/18/17

Good Afternoon Members,

This week at the Thursday evening membership meeting, we will be filling 12 Thanksgiving baskets for families that are less fortunate than we are and may not have Thanksgiving without our help. Please bring 12 identical nonperishable item to place in the baskets. If you know of a family that needs this help please notify Phyllis Crouch that you are reserving a basket for a family. We ask that you purchase a gallon of milk, a dozen eggs, a turkey or a ham and a pie and deliver it to the family. Phyllis may be reached at phylliscrouch@gmail.com . I hope to see you there on Thursday, Nov 16th. The social starts at 7:00 and the meeting starts at 7:30 sharp. As always, the meeting is held at Holy Family of Nazareth, 2323 Cheyenne, Irving, TX.

Also, Mark Powell will be compiling pictures/videos to be displayed at indoor car shows. If you have any videos or pictures that you think would be good examples of NTMC activities to showcase our club, please bring them to the meeting or arrange to get them to Mark by contacting him at markpowl@yahoo.com. Placing them on a thumb drive is best.

Frank McCurdy is requesting articles from the membership on any activities you are involved in with your Ford vehicle. It does not need to be long, a paragraph or two with a picture would be nice. Please send to ntmcnews@gmail.com

If you have any suggestions or questions please let me know.

Posted 11/5/17: NTMC News and What's Happening This Week

Members: I received some sad news this week from our Parade Director, Bill Waibel.

John Hess had been one of my most dedicated parade participants ever since I have been Parade Coordinator.

He had just worked the State Fair Kickoff Parade on 9/29/17 and appeared to be fit and healthy. He did mention that he was going to Mexico       the next weekend for his daughter's wedding.

On Halloween evening I received an email from him and expected him to say he would be at the SMU Parade, but unfortunately it was the
     following message from his wife:

     "Hi Bill:

This is Cindy Hess, John's wife.  I am sorry to let you know that John passed away, October 8, while we were in Mexico celebrating our
daughter's wedding.  John so enjoyed being a part of the NTMC and looked forward to "Parade Season".  Thank you and your members for
sharing your love for Mustangs with John.  He was a wonderful husband and father and we miss him all day every day.

     Cindy Hess"

Please keep John's family in your thoughts and prayers.

On Saturday, November 11th there will be several activities for your participation pleasure in honor of our Veterans.

Grapevine Veterans Day Parade that any car may join. Please contact Bill Waibel at waibelb@swbell.net if you wish to participate to get information on when and where to meet.

First Annual Dubiski Career High School Car Show in Grand Prairie at 2990 S Hwy 161, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Registration:  Voting:  Awards:
