Presidential Post Events and Happenings November 9th 2021

Members,

It's looking to be a busy next month and a half with parades, food basket drives, toy drives and our Christmas Party/White Elephant exchange all on the schedule. Read on for more information on the many events we have scheduled and will be participating in.

November Member Meeting: November 18th 2021 7:30

Great news, We have our old meeting location back!!!, After more than a year without a steady member meeting location we have been able to acquire our old digs back. Our November Meeting will be held at 7:30 on Thursday November 18th at Holy Family Catholic Parish, 2323 Cheyenne Street in Irving. This of course is where NTMC has held monthly member meetings for many years prior to Covid. As a welcome back the club will be providing pizza and drinks so come hungry and thirsty.

As in years past we will once again be collecting food to fill baskets for families in need during the November members meeting. We will be filling 12 baskets so we are asking members to bring non perishable items to help fill the baskets. We will also need to find 12 families that would benefit from receiving a basket. See the attached flyer for more information.

Cruise on the Square: November 13th 2021

Saturday November 13th will be our last show of the year. As a reminder due to the time change last weekend it will be getting dark earlier so registration will begin an hour earlier at 2 pm. Show hours will be from 2pm to 6pm. During the show we will be collecting food to help fill the baskets at the members meeting. I hope to see everyone out there.

Elections:

During the November 18th member meeting we will be holding our fall elections. The positions on the ballot will be President, Treasurer, 3 directors and MCA Rep. This is your chance to have a voice in keeping the NTMC headed in a good direction so if you are interested in running for any of the positions please let nominating committee members Jim Harrington and Jerry Flowers know.

Annual Toy Drive: Saturday December 4th 2021

Our annual toy drive is scheduled for Saturday December 4th from 11am to 1pm. The details are still being finalized however it will work much the same as in past years. We will meet up at Sam Pack in Plano and caravan over to a local Walmart where we will be purchasing toys and bicycles. We will load everything up and bring it back to Sam Pack where they will be donated to Toys for Tots. More details to come.

December Member Meeting/Gift Exchange: December 16th 2021

Get ready for a great time at our member meeting on December 16th. There will be food, drink and lots of fun to be had during the gift exchange. The meeting will be abbreviated to allow as much time as possible for the gift exchange to play out. more information will be provided as we get closer to the meeting date.

Holiday Parades:

There are a couple Holiday parades you should be aware of. The parade of lights in Euless and the Richardson Christmas Parade will both be held on December 4th.
